We recently stayed at Causeway Coast Caravan Park using a caravan owned by a family member, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The park’s location is superb — just a short stroll from the town, making it incredibly convenient for grabbing groceries, dining out, or exploring local attractions.nnThe facilities on-site are well-suited for families. Our kids had a blast in the swimming pool and arcades, which provided hours of entertainment no matter the weather. The atmosphere felt warm and community-driven, with many families clearly enjoying their time there.nnThe only reason we’ve rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the steadily increasing site fees. Even as guests using a family member’s caravan, we were aware of how much more expensive it’s become year after year. While the quality of the park is strong, the rising costs may deter long-term visitors or repeat guests.nnIn short: if you're looking for a convenient, family-oriented park with good facilities, Causeway Coast Caravan Park is a great choice—just be mindful of the growing site fees.
This is the 4th season we’ve visited this park and I can see improvements being made every year. First time staying in the apartment as our tourer was in for repair.nThe apartment was spotless clean, fresh bedding and looked like it had been recently refurbished. I was pleasantly surprised for the money it was great!nWe had tea in the pub which was a good feed for 7 people, cooked by Biddy who’s a lovely lady, as are all the other staff.nPlenty for the kids to do with the hot tub, play park, football pitch and swimming pool.nMy tips are bring your own towels, book the swimming pool early as slots on a Saturday full up quick, bring bikes or scooters for the kids. Have a walk down the hill to the beach it’s beautiful.nI was especially impressed with the water quality of the hot tub being checked daily by a staff member & if it was not good enough we had to get out for 5 mins whilst the chlorine mixed in.nAlso I was impressed that the bar had live acts on Friday and Saturday night which was entertaining for us adults.nThank you for a lovely trip, we’ll definitely be back
Stayed in Apartment 10 over the weekend with my 2 kids. Very enjoyable stay even though the weather was awful. Everything was clean and well kept. Beds and sofa very comfy. Check in and check out was super easy. Didn't try the restaurant this time but would definitely try hopefully we will get another visit.
Poor when there are no towels, no hand soap, only one bin bag. Apartment is not bad, very basic but all you need. Arcade most of the items broken and those that did work were a scam in terms of cost and value for money. WiFi at a cost. Shop overpriced but thankfully shops nearby. A few simple things and this would be ideal too many hidden costs like those for towels, shower mats etc
Hired a static caravan for 3 nights. Wasn’t very homely - built in corner sofa extremely uncomfortable, not a lamp in sight so you either sit with all the lights on or sit in complete darkness, same as bedrooms, no bedside lamps. Not very homely. 2 toilet rolls for 3 days and one bin liner that was in the bin so once you run out of toilet rolls and bin is full you replace these yourself. Extremely pricey stay to then have to buy extra things when all we were told was we needed towels everything else provided. The toilet/ shower facilities weren’t open the entirety of our stay so I feel sorry for the people in tourers! The site itself has no atmosphere and bar very cold you couldn’t take your coat off without shivering. Staff were friendly that was about the only good thing for us personally. We had considered buying a caravan here - glad we hired to see what it was like because it’s very doom and gloom and was like jumping into a time warp, it could do with major renovations in comparison to others we have stayed at.
