Extremely friendly cats, Clean premises (frequently hovered), wonderful staff, and lovely afternoon tea (tasty brioche variety sandwiches; home baked cakes). 

From cats that jump on your shoulder to say hi to quieter types that take an interest when we approached them, we were super satisfied with our visit. 

Very reasonable prices; only take cash with cash machine available next door (£1.85 charge); parking on side streets near the cafe.

Lovely atmosphere,  good food and really friendly affectionate cats. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this as an alternative cafe experience. The five pound entrance fee for adults and three pounds for children is a fair price compared to other cat cafe's and is toward the cost of the upkeep of the cats. Without which there would be no cafe. The cats are an attraction and are very costly to keep. It's cheaper than going to see a film and more entertaining..

Truly wonderful...therapeutic.  Beautiful friendly cats in comfortable surroundings with relaxing music and good food.  What more do you want? Will definitely become a frequent customer

So cute! The cats are lovely and all look very happy! The hot chocolate and chocolate orange cake are very nice. We would have liked a little more attention when first entering, but they did explain they were busy and apologised for any wait. Unfortunately the coffee machine wasn’t working, but these things happen and again they apologised and offered normal white or black coffee instead. I think had we chosen a slightly quieter time to go we would have had the full benefit, but I would definitely recommend visiting. Don’t forget you need to book!

Great place for all cat lovers .. Adam and his team make you feel very welcome and are full of knowledge about lots of breeds of cats. The venue is small and well kept meaning you get lots of catty attention ..i would definitely recommend cat village north to all cat lovers young and old!
