Fantastic little cafe. We stopped in as a fairly big group but service was still very quick. Delicious bacon roll and a MASSIVE strawberry tart. Perhaps a little on the expensive side but it is at the side of a carriageway and to be honest the quality is there so I didn’t mind too much.
First visit, but it won't be the last!nFabulous food - I had a special burger and my wife had this picture steak baked potato.nnLovely service
Great spot! We can for Mother’s Day and didn’t realise that you had to be in the vestibule part to have your dog but they moved some tables around to accommodate us and we’re so polite about it.The food is amazing!!!
Visited the Castleton Farm Shop and cafe for first time. Overall good experience. Food lovely and good portions in Cafe. Only downside was a can of normal coke was just under £4. Far too much to charge for soft drink. We bought fresh fruit, vegetables, marmalade and loaf of bread from shop. All items good apart from the bread that went mouldy only 2 days of purchasing it. There was no use by date on it so in retrospect wish I had asked when made or when to use by. But only 2 days becoming mouldy not good. I would go back with the good experience overall but will be cautious with some of the items mentioned. They have a great out door space for children & adults. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Good parking space.
A lovely place to stop off for a relaxing lunch in their large conservatory with our dog. Even better there is a gluten free menu. I was a little disappointed they've stopped doing gluten free fish and chips as they can no longer get the fish dressing but was very happy with the potato rostis and salad that I had instead. Absolutely delicious and my husband enjoyed his normal fish and chips. There is a handy playpark out the back if you have children. Staff are welcoming and so friendly. Farm shop has great assortment including gluten free crisps in pop up tube just like Pringles. We'll be back soon.
