Ordered the fish and chips to take away and the fish in batter was inedible. It had obviously been cooked a few hours ago so the fish was dry and the batter soggy. Tried to eat the fish separately but gave up as it was just so overcooked and tasteless . Probably the worst bit of fish I've ever tasted . They should have cooked a fresh bit to order as now doubt my bit and the other bits of fish in the warmer had been there a considerable time and would have just been thrown in the bin 20 mins later when they were due to close . Chips were ok though
Amazing chip shop! Always very busy which shows the food is good. Quick service and good food, and reasonably priced
The place was late opening, we all had to wait ages to be served, the fish was small, the chips, curry sauce and breadcake were ok, but the saveloy sausage was tasteless. I spent £13, then had to pay another 10 pence for a bag
Pretty good ! Fish was lovely and chips tasted great although were quite soft and mushy. Would go there again. One cod and chips lacked attention to detail. Paid extra for a large serving and when we unwrapped it, the cod looked like it had been shredded and half of it was missing. All the other meals were great though, so probably a one off.
I came late to order a portion of fish and chips. They were so flexible and went out of their way to prepare me the biggest and most delicious fish I have ever eaten. Thank you.
