Went to Cask Smugglers today and spent a really lovely afternoon in one of their heated pods. The food was lovely and the cocktails were wonderful especially the Butterscotch Snowball and the hot chocolate. The staff were very friendly and really helpful. This was booked as a birthday treat for me so we used a pre-bought voucher and just had to pay the extra. It is well worth a visit. Thank you to all the staff who served us this afternoon you were all lovely. Best wishes from the 4 women wrapped in the pink blankets
Beautiful views in the domes, especially when the sun set. Plenty of space in the domes, with own Bluetooth speaker and small heater. Great cocktails and enjoyed with a cheese board. Only downfall is that it closed at 10pm, would of been nice to stay slightly longer.
Blown away with the domes and the service, fast and efficient. Great choice of non alcoholic drinks and plenty of options. Had a fab time here. Thank you for a great time
The domes are a unique dining experience, like 7 conservatories on top of Waverly Shopping centre with the lights of the Balmoral Hotel, the Scott monument, and Edinburgh castle within view. Meat & Cheese board for £35 is a bit high but is filling. It is cold so keep your coat on
Surprisingly brilliant food although the menu had small choice for lunch. Great atmosphere. A bit disappointing that we could not sit outside, although inside was perfectly nice
Do yourself a favour! Find the Cask Smugglers bar and have a beer or wine. Poorly advertised hard to find most people find the domes. View of the old town is stunning!
Arrived in Edinburgh for the weekend and this was our first stop! Bit of a shaky start with our booking, but then Josie I think stepped in and all was well. Her customer service skills were fab and we were soon settled into one of the domes. They are lovely! Cosy, warm, very well decorated and with a lovely view all around of Edinburgh. The food was delicious! A very tasty cheese & charcuterie platter and a lovely afternoon tea with the most amazing doughnuts & cinnamon buns which we very quickly demolished. Hot chocolates all around and as it got dark the domes sparkle with fairy lights and the city lights up….a fab experience which I would throughly recommend
Pizza here is must. Genuinely one of the best ever, which I must admit did take me by a positive suprise. Added to super friendly staff and decent drinks selection and chilled atmosphere. Don't let the sci-fi punny food names deceive... The Philip j fries with parmesan were excellent too.
Very good service and Fancy food! It was quite oily so bring a bib.
Was really looking forward to this place from their social media and good reviews on here. Unfortunately we were really disappointed. The bottle of white wine we got served was warm although served with an ice bucket it took a long time to cool down. The food was sub par; the prawns were bland, cauliflower was tasteless and the pork in the tacos was really dry and overcooked. Staff friendly and attentive but sadly wouldn't return
