I was so excited to try the chicken shawarma i came from heisting but when i was there i saw the guy touching his faces and hair and he was so sweaty in front of all the customers. So just think about how he prepares the meats and everything. I ran away immediately.
Absolute bossmen. Aubergine kebab is seriously beautiful. And the dips are fire and honestly the best in Brighton.
Ordered 2 large kebabs and they were both small wrapped greasy under cooked meat and was very disgusting do not ever buy from here in future
Best kebab I've ever had in my life and I've had a lot. Freshly made garlic alioli Or a similar sauce I don't know the name of delicous sheep cheese melted on the perfectly cooked chips rather than the usual rubbish. Very good value and absolutely delicious taziki sauce and houmous. And the shwarma was just melt In your mouth good. Perfect Chicken, Crisp salad, juicey pickles, doused in delicious sauces. Just a perfect kebab experience for me. 11/10
We as a family love this kebab shop - it’s much more than your average kebab shop. Beautifully flavoured fresh chunks of meat and fresh salad rolled up in a large flat bread. We drive a 70 mile round trip to get these as a special treat. They are so delicious!! Been going here for at least 3 years, approx 5 times a year and never had a bad one. You must try them.
Update July 2022 - the management/ownership must have changed. I enjoyed coming here before Covid. The guys were understanding and it was easy to explain what you wanted. Now it’s like barely any veggies in your food, serving such a small amount of sauces, and just the last time 6/7/22 got a huge amount of rice with barely any Chicken Shawarma - and the meat was all burnt and crunchy as it must have been spinning for hours plus it smelled funny like out of date. Vegetables looked disgusting and on the way out. So sad I had to downgrade my rating but before Covid me and my partner loved it here, all kind of meals.. Well, it’s a shame… Previous review: I used to come to Casba a lot and after a while my bf joined me as well : I especially love the freshly made sauces they use which actually tastes like a garlic sauce and chilli sauce! Amazing. We haven't been in for a while, but the only reason why is that since we sold our van, it's a long walk.. Please, you guys need to start using a delivery service! : Favourites: Cheeseburgers and Chicken Shawarma.
Great lamb shawarma - wraps with shavings of juicy marinated lamb, just the right amount of pickles and salad, and lashings of sauce. The best I've found in Brighton and on the same level as the best I know in London. My only suggestion would be to prepare the falafel for falafel wraps fresh to order rather than in advance.
This is the best kebab I have ever had, this is excellent recipe , try it . I don’t know if negative reviews are rivals or drunkards but this place is excellent
Made me wait for 20 mins while 1 guy served a few people and the rest of them stood in the back doing nothing then had a go at me when I asked for salad on my meat and chips. Weird.
I hate how one guy always charges me extra to put 3-4 chips in chicken shawarma. Whereas, when he is not around, no one else charges extra for that! Its fraud i swear! Never going back again
