I was thrilled to learn that there was an Auntie Anne's in Brighton since we were coming on holiday for a few days and do not have any of these stores in our part of the country. However having walked fifteen minutes there to get my Dad his favourite Almond pretzels no click and collect or delivery options or phone number were available, was told "we don't do those!" Not, sorry we are out of stock, just "we just don't do them". ..they ARE on the online menu, they ARE on the store menu!! I had to settle for cinnamon pretzels instead. My son asked for cinnamon nuggets but again..."sorry we don't do those either!!!" AGAIN, we were looking right at them on the menu!!! Corporate had said we could buy a make-at-home kit from a store because even in this day and age they couldn't be ordered online but AGAIN "no, we don't do those". Not the cashier's fault but total waste of energy taking the time out to walk up there. I will TRY not to judge Auntie Anne's based on this store which presumably is a franchise but living in USA for over a decade and the couple of other stores I have managed to find in England, this sure is NOT a great advertisement for the brand and frankly not carrying key items that are both on the online menu and the store menu is tantamount to false advertising. If I had had the time I would have looked for a Mr Pretzel on my route home.
Pretzels were so good! Wish Anne's was all over the country but it's so hard to find them now. :
Lovely staff and great tasting food. We always grab a snack from here. A selection of sweet and savoury. And bonus is its halal. Love the jalapeño and cheese pretzel and the pepperoni cheese bites. Yum
Second time we've tried it here. The first time the Pretzel was dried out and had clearly been made hours before! Gave it a 2nd go as my son lives pretzels, but yet again we ended up throwing half if it away as it was tough, dried out and cold!!! More expensive than Mr Pretzel, which is a million times better!!!! NOT impressed!
Always enjoy the products here and very, very surprised by the negative reviews to be honest. Many of the worst do seem quite old. My partner and I are frequent customers—probably too frequent!—and always love the food.
I was somewhat taken aback by the attitude of the guys working behind the counter the other week when I noticed the guy who was making the pretzel touch the back of his hair readjusted his cap and then was intending to continue making the pretzels. When I asked if he was intending to change his gloves, he asked why. When I brought it to his attention that I had seen him touch his hair, he went on to argue with me and changed his gloves.. on leaving the counter still within hearing distance, heard him swear and say not very nice things about me, I also had my daughter with me... I am disgusted with his behaviour and more than likely won't be going there again
Very disappointing! £4 for an undercooked bit of dough. Very oily and tasteless, could make it better myself.
The mini hotdog rolls were stale and didn’t taste good.
Best pretzels ever..staff very friendly
Good pretzels ruined by poor staff and half filled cups
