Very nice location, and great layout too, making use of its position. Good choice of food on the menu, and all tasted great, nicely cooked and presented. However, sat upstairs and the food comes up in a dumb waiter, and was luke warm to cold. We were with a family group celebrating two birthdays so didn't say anything to ruin the great atmosphere, but just wished the food had been hot, which was the view of a few of us. That said, still tasted great, the staff were really friendly, and we'll come back again but as a smaller group.
Amazing view from this 30's design restaurant/bar Service is nice but they inform us that the food will take almost 30min to get ready for 2 plates... so unfortunately we do not taste the food just couple of drinks
Went there with my colleagues for Christmas Brunch. Had Wild Mushroom Arancini for Starters, Roasted winter veg and lentil wellington for Mains and Chocolate Brownie + Ice cream for dessert They also made a customized mocktail for me which I absolutely loved
If you’re thinking of getting married here, do it. The BEST decision we made! The venue is absolutely stunning, with iconic views of the West Pier. The BBC team are fabulous. Bex managed everything with us from initial booking to making sure everything went smoothly on the day. She was AMAZING. Super helpful, worked with us to figure out the best way to do things and was also just a pure pleasure to spend time with and chat to. Bex was fab in helping us curate food and drinks menus to suit the budgets we had too. We had super cute fish and chip cones as canapés and a delicious 3 course sit down meal. Thank you to the fabulous chefs! We had our ceremony upstairs for 100 people, followed by our reception, dinner and dancing downstairs. We went on to the beach for a dance to Brighton School of Samba, which was so fun and was made so spectacular by the view on the beach. We specifically wanted a venue that felt relaxed - and that was exactly it. All of the staff were kind and friendly and felt like part of the day. This isn’t a super formal venue - it’s a fun one. Thank you Bex for being such a joy and so helpful and organised. And thanks to the whole BBC team for the amazing food, drinks and fun you bought to the day. You’re the bloody best!
Great for lunch in the sunshine upstairs with a good view over the seaside and seafront area, great selection of lunch and dinner items available plus other menu choices for most times of day. Good when not too busy though and even better when the weather is good and or sitting inside during the winter. Will definitely come back here on another trip this way soon.
We came for an early lunch so it was us and only a few others in the restaurant. The view upstairs is lovely and the service was quick. Staff were so friendly. We had a few small plates and a drink each which all tasted lovely and came in good time. The only downside is the portions were very small for the price.
Great location by the beach! Food is average. Nice & friendly service.Recommended dishesFish and Chips
I loved the crispy squid and the cocktails were very nice too! The location and the ambience is amazing here, I had a great time. The customer service was very nice and quick.
Lola was the maitre d’ of all maitre d’s. We had guests cancel last minute and just turn up having paid just a couple of hours before for our event and Lola was able to adjust in the moment to new food orders and throughout the night kept everyone happy, by managing the pre-order of alcohol evenly according to the tables that were more gluttonous than others. Lola was able to handle all of our queries throughout the event and kept us all feeling really relaxed and she had amazing oversight and was an incredible host all around. Bex handled all the preplanning and would like to thank her as well for an amazing night.
Shuffle was a bustling bar that has cocktails at reasonable prices, the music is chosen by the guests through there phones. My friends and I had a great time. Friendly people friendly staff.
