Such an incredible selection of wines, some great gluten-free beers loving this citra and mosaic pale from Farm Yard Brew, and expert, friendly advice. Thanks for my Farm Yard glass - I am sipping cold beer in the perfect glass whilst cooking a joint of beef from 3 Little Pigs. Cheers!
Fantastic wine shop, with great service every time. All staff incredibly knowledgeable and happy to help. Annette was very understanding and trusted us to pop back and pay later so we weren't late for an oncology appointment. Ross is always on hand for great recommendations. Best wine shop in Chorlton and beyond.
What a selection! We couldn’t decide so we got a box full of Belgium beers, wheat beers and a wine. We were offered and given help and the customer service couldn’t have been better. We’ll be back next time we’re down from the lakes.
Shopped here whilst visiting family in Chorlton. They have a fantastic selection of craft and German beers and whilst browsing, was given some expert knowledge by the shopkeeper who showed that she obviously has a great passion for the products.

I have been a big fan of carringtons for many years now, however unfortunately I have to say I will not be going in again after the experience this morning. I entered the shop around 10:20 i heard the lady say the till wasn’t working and a few other words that suggested she really didn’t want to be working that day. I didn’t feel welcome in the shop at all and would question why the shop was open and not ready to serve customers if the front door is open ? I only went in for a few cans of beer and had to wait 20 mins for the till to be working or cashed up. After the wait I was then told the card machine was not working and the workers the previous night had left it to her to sort out. While all this was happening another customer behind me was allowed to walk away with an expensive bottle of wine without paying and said he would be back to pay at lunch time ? So Obviously favouritism has kicked in here which made me feel really annoyed when thinking about how much money I have spent on here over the years ! So due to my experiences this morning I will not be going back. You just cannot treat customers like this ! You are supposed to be a professional wine shop if I had treated my customers like this I wouldn’t be in a job ! Disgraceful
Amazing wine, beer and spirits selection with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Make sure to ask about monk made wine! I've recently had superb garnacha, lushious Loire Sauvignon Blanc and delicate German pinot noir, alongside some outstanding Belgian Trappist beers from here and very reasonable prices.
Our favourite bar in Chorlton, you can choose any beer out of a huge range and it’s usually with matching glassware. Unbelievably fair prices and great knowledge from the staff who have a genuine passion for the stock.
