I always go to carpetright, never had any problems and Craig from the swindon store who served me was so friendly very helpful in what I wanted and a great guy to chat to, couldn't ask for more. Great service all round.
Carpetright wouldn't share details of the carpet fitter ahead of our fitting date so we had no idea what time they would turn up we had no phone call from the fitter. When the carpet fitter eventually arrived, they complained to us that they hadn't been told to collect our old carpet! As you can see below, they left the new carpet covered in loose pile which we had to clean up. After we hoovered, we noticed a hole in the carpet and complained to the store. The store didn't even reply to our complaint. 23/9/21 update - you'll see below the owner's response, asking me to get in touch with their customer service team. I did that 3 days ago - haven't even had an acknowledgement 28/9/21 update - still nothing from the company or the store. I'll keep updating this post so you can see just how bad this gets. Of course, at some point, I'll have to physically go back in to the store and make a scene, I'll send photos.
Great customer service, listened to our requirements and was great even when I was indecisive, was so helpful. Helped me understand each mattress and make a better decision. Can't wait for my delivery. Really took the stress out of shopping.
I have been here before to buy a carpet and found the process time consuming and frustrating. Leonie sped up the whole process and we got exactly what we want and when we want it with no salesperson over selling. It made the process a lot less stressful, thank you leonie.
Very bad services. Ones they have your money they don't care about anything. And they charge 100 in advance. Carpet fitters not motivated to do the job and can walk away half way. Never going to use again. I left with old carpet everywhere in my house that was not picked up for weeks, no new fitted...half job done and I was waiting a month. Please be careful and don't pay full amount upfront.
Been very pleased with flexibility and help from Cliff at carpetright. Very knowledgeable and great choice of carpets at fair prices.
Was assisted in buying a bed by Clive. Excellent help, very personable and professional, and made the whole experience very enjoyable.
We just went to have a look at the carpets, and we were greeted with a very pleasant, helpful person called Jamie. He went out of his way to make sure we got exactly what we needed.
Very helpful gent helped my indecisive, aged mother with explanations and approximate cost for a new carpet. He then provided contact details for her local branch where she could continue her order if she wished. He was really appreciated.
Never again! Failed at every stage by these cowboys. No ownership nor accountability what so ever. Ordered a carpet for our first childs nursary. Fitter turned up on the day and fitted the wrong carpet. wrong underlay and carpet. Realised mistake and packed up as quick as possible and left the room without any carpet. Apon leaving it became evident that our walls had been damaged, waste left behind and the new door bar fitted poorly. Visited the swindon shop to be told it was everyone elses fault but carpet right. No apology nor good will offer. Had to push before they offered a pitful 70 pound refund doesnt even cover the cost of the damage Was told i would have to pursue the fitter for damages. At that point i cancelled for a full refund. I followed up with head office to get the same run around i got with the store. So to summarise i now have a bare nursery waiting on another carpet from elsewhere and a hallway full of furniture. My advice to anyone reading this is look else where and avoid. This company treats customers with utter contemp
