Truly one star too many. Walked in, picked up a bass guitar as you do in any music store and started to mess around only for the manager to rudely come up and say to put it down unless I was going to buy it. What sort of music shop is this? Choose anywhere other than this place to buy music gear. Only good thing is the prices but even then if you are looking for quality equipment do not buy here.
My family play a variety of instruments and we regularly use Noteworthy to get music books, accessories, etc. for them. They are great at searching out the stuff we ask for. When we were looking for a drum kit, Colin, the owner, was really helpful in advising us about what to be aware of and what was important in our choice. So I would happily recommend Noteworthy based on our experiences.
Everything was overpriced, their service is good but as previous reviews state - they are only interested if you are definitely going to buy something, understandable i know, but that isnt going to make me come back and actually buy something. The boss/manager/owner or whatever proceded at one point to ban my friend from the shop because he was asking advice on a guitar before he bought it and after realising he could get it cheaper he mentioned this and was asked to leave. Even after my friend had bought endless strings, picks and various other things from Noteworthy he still got banned. in my opinion - definitely not note worthy.
Today I had occasion to return a music stand, purchased in April, which had completely sheared across the top of the stem. The proprietor's immediate response was "I'll get you another one" - no quibble, no request for proof of purchase, and no need for a request from me.for for a replacement. What more can I say?
Nice guitars, but as soon as I talked about anither music shop with the same guitar but better price he just walked away and stoped serving me. And the first tjimg he said was are you buying anything, for me thats bad if you want to keep you customers and
Friendly staff, very helpful. The shop is a lot bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside! Great selection of ukuleles, which is what I was after.
Nice people, good selection. Bought my favourite guitar from these guys. It's always good to support a local independant
It's, "noteworthy", they sell ok instruments, but you could go anywhere else
