The store manager Gemma was very helpful in finding me a remnant carpet for my guest room. The fitter was very nice and the carpet looks fab.
Having left this store to go to another local retailer.. it really showed up the abysmal 'service' provided by this store. I would not reccomend this store to anyone.
Very unreliable waited 3 different days to get the carpet fitted eventually after asking for a refund it was fitted will not use them again
Went in yesterday to get a couple of off cuts. I was served by Claire who told me she was the new Manageress. Lovely lady, very helpful, organised and professional.
Asked for fitting to be done ASAP, after 10 days i call back to be told that the person dealing with me no longer works there and that they missed calling me back despite my carpet arriving at their warehouse 6 days earlier! Because of this i now have to move into my new house the day before the carpets will be fitted or have to pay for a removal company over the Easter weekend as my old house needs handing back the day after! Terrible service, not offered any real apologies or compensation to help cover the extra cost of hiring a removal company on a bank holiday.
Highly recommended great service, fast fitting
Horrible and disgraceful company! Do not use it! Even their fitters don’t have anything good to say about the company! Firstly, on the fitting day, they only sent the carpet without the strips all paid for. Then, I was asked to pay extra £30 to dispose the carpet, which should have been included in the price anyway, no one told me this until the fitting day! Thirdly, regardless of the agreed price, I need to pay another £48 to fit 2 door strips and 1 landing strips!!!!! I was introducing people to their store, but now I will tell everyone I know not to!!
All kinds of charges on recipt that were later removed because couldn’t be explained Couldn’t even give AM or PM let alone time of fitting as stated on website Charged for removal of rubbish states free on website Door bars weren’t fitted with first fitting, second fitting or 3 requests afterwards. Shop’s response is ‘sorry but we don’t offer any form of compensation’. Even though I’ve had to take 3 days off work. Avoid this shop even if you’re desperate!!
have never been treated like this by sales men before seems they dont need the work. very insulting one man on private call other one told me i need to call back in january the sales are on then and then told me no fitting until febuary or even longer i felt like he thought i could not aford it big mistake for carpetright.
I found the premises easy to walk round and choose my carpets the price was good and Alan the advisor was very helpful. When our move date changed there were no problems with holding my carpets until I needed them.I would just like to say thank you.
