We had evening meals here Friday and Saturday Sirloin steak and the chicken curry as we were staying directly opposite in a lodge. Food was outstanding and reasonably priced. Host's were fantastic and really friendly. We have planned to stay at the lodge again this year and will definitely be visiting again. Literally just finished dinner and it was lovely. Batter on the fish was amazing! Lasagne was very very nice. Ladies are really friendly. If we're down this way again, this will definitely be the place to eat.
We came for Sunday Roast sadly without a reservation. BUT the amazing staff found a table for us in the bar area. We had the three meat platter. The food was flavorful and probably one of the best Sunday Roast we have had. Make a reservation!! You will enjoy it.
We had a meal in the evening here. The welcome was super friendly and the service was great. Food was exactly as pub grub is supposed to be - well cooked, very tasty, filling, and reasonably priced. Couldn't fault it. Two meals and alcoholic drinks for around £27 is great value.Food: 5/5

We had lunch here and weren't disappointed, the burger and gammon meals were both lovely and the red velvet cheesecake was a great desert to finish off. A nice pint and lovely welcome as well. Will definitely be back.
