Gorgeous authentic Italian food in a lovely setting and with great service. The range of simple tasty Italian dishes covers all tastes and we were impressed with the three courses we had. Fair price too at £60 for two
This place is amazing the food was up high standard and the staff were magnificent Francisco and Chloe especially I highly recommend this place
Surely the best Italian in town! We arrived for brunch but ended up choosing from the full lunch menu as two of our group were vegans. No problems at all to do it our way! Presentation and quality of the food was superb, with friendly and prompt service
Good and fast service. Nice environment and views. Good prices.
We eat here on a theatre trip to Brighton. The food was great, and the two vegans in our group were pleasantly surprised at the choice they had, especially the plum tart! The staff were very efficient and looked after us well. An all round excellent eating experience.
First off the food was good. The restaurant looks tired with paint coming off the walls and dirty patches on walls where people brush against them. Our table had chipped veneer around the edges and the seat wobvled. The gents toilets were not clean and the floor was dirty. Also the panels on the wall under the urinals had rust all over them and looked really dirty. Needs a refit or decorating. The staff were pushy with olives etc before we ordered are food and the same with side dishes. Standard sort of thing at a chain restaurant, but then we were asked four time while eating it we were enjoying our food and if we wanted anything else. I was also asked three times if I wanted another drink before fully finishing my beer which was served warm. Only given two stars as the food was good.
Delicious Italian food and friendly staff. Very affordable lunch menu.
tiny pasta portion, my 8 year old was hungry after an adult's meal! Service was slow, we had to constantly call our waiter over for everything we needed. Not as good as it used to be, such a shame :-
The service here is absolutely awful! The staff were unprepared for us despite us booking a table in advance. The waitress was incredibly moody. She threw the menus about the table in a disorganised manner, and there were not enough for all of us. When serving us water, she just left the glasses at the end of the table again, not enough for our number and on the whole neglected us as customers. She didn't even come to check if we were ready to order our food and it was difficult for us to get her attention, even though the restaurant was not at all busy. I have never experienced such appalling service and I will never be visiting again. This place deserves 0 stars for their dreadful treatment of customers.
Been to other Carluccios and they were very good. My waitress was pretty useless. Had to ask for side plates, then had to ask for cutlery and then had to ask for cheese to be grated on one of our meals. Perhaps she was new? Maybe, but I don't see why we had to be her Guinea pig's.
