Welcome to Shakeaway Brighton!

Story

Brighton is known for the pier, Pavilion and seafront but the best part of Brighton is the North Laines where you'll find Shakeaway! We have the full Shakeaway menu including over 180 flavours of milkshake, real fruit smoothies, frozen yoghurt desserts and low fat fries. If you're lucky you might bump into Brighton residents Norman Cook and Zoe Ball who love our shakes.

Very rare to find this store without a queue but still took over 30 mins to make 3 milk shakes. Considering it was a bank holiday weekend, one would assume you'd have competent staff that are able to make more then 1 shake every 5 minutes.
Came here on a Saturday. There was one person making the Shakes and there was a queue of 10 people! When I placed the order there was no mention on how long it was going to take! It took 20min for my shake to come through! This is on a Saturday! How is this okay?!!!
The lady on the till was very helpful considering I am gluten and dairy free. However this is not the best milkshake I've had, it was lukewarm and the marzipan was still in a big clumps at the bottom. It was a bit overpriced too.
Frozen Yogurt? More like soup! We waited 15 minutes for a Frozen Yogurt when there was 5 people behind the counter! The "frozen" yogurt came out practically as soup, we got advised that it was due to it being a hot day. It was 20 degrees! I would hate to see what it would be like in a heatwave! There is no AC unit in the shop. Slow service, terrible product.
Milkshakes ahoy! Loads of combinations to choose from and a super helpful allergy menu. The vegan section doesn't contain accidentally vegan products that maybe subject to contamination due to production methods, so super helpful for folk who are actually allergic. So for example, you won't find Oreos on the vegan menu, but can still get an oreo shake. There can be a wait while it's busy, but do remember everything is made to order. Staff are super friendly, and always good with my small. On one occasion, there was a small issue with a shake, and this was sorted out pronto, and with good grace. I just wish they had vegan milks and ice cream with out soy, but it's such a small preference, it's not stopping me going again and again.
I effing love this place. Their highly-trained milkshake engineers are on hand to prepare whatever outrageous concoction you desire. This taste-ship runs on imagination, ice cream, and poor dietary decisions! It's ongoing mission, to seek out new flavours, and new combinations...to boldly blend what no-one has blended before!
Great shakes slow and confused staff. Forgot my shake and tried to give my son one that had been given to a previous customer. I said no and she said I will give you another straw. No thanks.
Upon extensive research, I was excited to taste what is cited as a delicacy in the realm of milkshakes. Unfortunately, as the first sip of my white hazelnut, kinder bueno, brownie, with mixed nuts and no whipped cream shake touched my seasoned tastebuds, I was supremely disappointed. The viscosity of 'the shake' was far too runny. I was anticipating a dramatic sugar rush, but instead I did not. The nuggets of brown brownies were gigantic and not homogenous as they should have been. That is all. I won't be returning. It's a well-priced scam! lol
