Horrible shawarma chicken. Looks like the have ran down the Asda got a couple of cooked chickens and lashed a bit of sauce on it. Came cold more salad than chicken not edible. Chips were soggy can’t believe these have got nearly 6 stars on just eat must be fake reviews. Don’t order from here unless you want food poisoning from cold chicken the Bread for the kebab was rock solid as well. Not nice.
Haven't ordered from here in a while. It's gone downhill. Picked up 2 burger meals. Burger was ok, not as good as they used to be. They forgot to add the mayo. Literally a small handful of fries constitute the "meal". They were cold and tasted old and soggy as if they'd been fried in very old reused oil. They were inedible. Shame as their fries used to be pretty good and much better portions.
I placed an order at 2.30am via Deliveroo, with an advised delivery time of 3.05am. At 3.12am I received notification that it was "on the way" and by 3.45am it was yet to arrive. I received further notification at 4.15am stating my order "should" be with me now - it hadn't arrived. Neither the restaurant nor rider made any attempt to contact me by phone or via the app. Very disappointing. This is the second time this has happened with an order from Carlitos, via Deliveroo. I have been a customer for years and have always enjoyed the food - it's such a shame as I will not order from there again. Refund pending from Deliveroo who have advised confirmation takes up to 72hrs! Who knows, maybe the food will arrive by then...
SHOCKING. I will never order from here again. When I ordered, the maximum delivery time was 45 minutes. I called four times to check where the order was after an hour. Not one call was answered. Eventually, after 1 hour and 50 minutes, the delivery arrived. The chips were cold. We ordered chicken sharwarmas, but this arrived wrong and the portion was tiny. The tahini was vile. So disappointed. I could not possibly give this place a second chance.
Ordered for delivery via foodhub since it's highly rated there then read the terrible reviews here and was worried but I'm glad to say that I had a different experience: the delivery was on time and the food: warm, fresh and pleasant.Food: 5/5
Didn’t know what to expect as never been before but had an absolutely excellent kebab. Succulent lamb shish cooked perfectly in a delicious marinade with fresh doughy naan/pita. Would definitely recommend.
I found them on Uber eats ordered a burger and some chips on 2:09 and right now is 04:15 and still no food delivered. I tried to call them goes directly to voice-mail or they rejected the call to go to voice-mail... I work as a consierge and I can't leave the site. Really disappointed, I hope that they will cancel the order and refund the money... I managed to get in contact with Uber to cancel the order, but after 1 minute the delivery driver showed up 04:45. I honestly feel sorry for him.
My partner and I eat here regularly and now for the second time the food is ridiculously late ... normally we are happy with the time of delivery and quality of food . But for the second time food is late .. we are told food would arrive at 18:45 from time of order placed.it is now 19:43 no one is answering the phone and I do not have the patience to deal with cold food arriving almost 2 hours after we had ordered . We will be contacting jsut eat for a full refund and refusing food. It's a monday !! As I have wrote this the food arrived freezing
Just ordered a chicken kebab, asked for all the salad. Waited for 20 minutes. Kebabs arrive finally, disgusting wet bread it’s wrapped in was making the chicken fall out. Not a single bit of salad was in it. Irritating. Really irritated. I would give it less than a 1 star
First two times I went the food was fine, however the staff on the phone the first time was rather rude. The third time, after ordering the same thing each time, the student meal, left me with Gastroenteritis, or stomach flu, causing me to miss much Uni work and ruin my weekend. Never eating here again. I also discovered that it has a food hygiene rating of zero. Disgusting, would not recommend.
