Brilliant. I have used them twice. Once, a couple of years ago, they made my wedding ring to my own design and I was very happy with the final product. Exactly what I was after and for the price quoted. Secondly, just today they fixed my engagement ring. Just a minor repair, one of the claws had snapped off around the stone. Fixed it in a couple of weeks for me and again for the price quoted. Staff always polite and helpful. Very happy and I would recommend them.

Very friendly shop. They turned an old gold rose shaped earring into a charm for me and did a really beautiful job for an incredibly reasonable price. Highly recommended. I'm now going to search my jewellery box to see if there's anything else i can have transformed!

I very rarely write reviews and when I do they're always a 5 as i compliment more than complain but not this time... I had a wedding band made at carats and whilst I don't wish to complain too much about ring itself (although the diamonds arent quite as straight and central as I'd like) it's the service. My wedding was in March 2016 and they said they'd engrave it in the next batch - the next batch being beginning of November - quite some time!!! So I took it in on 31st October and was informed they'd sent the rings they had off that day so I missed it... well thanks for letting me know - wasted trip! I didn't find them too accommodating and just said next batch would go in New Year... well it's towards the end of February now and I've not been contacted yet... I've been trying for 2 days to contact the business, it just rings. Well throughout the day maybe they're busy? So I call at 5pm when expect it to be quieter and still no answer! They say they're open until 530 but I reckon they finish at 5 (please update if so!) Anyway, so it's nearly a year now I've been married and I'll probably still have an un-hallmarked wedding ring on my anniversary... I'm not happy as could be taken to be cheap metal and binned if lost and found. I agree with the other review - don't bother. Waiting a year for your wedding ring to be stamped in totally unacceptable.

Got two ear piercings at Carats and it was top quality service, the guys there are pro and gave me good advice on what studs to get. Great price and great jewellery too
