Berridges Jewellers
The concept of opening a bespoke jewellers in Ipswich was the idea of Christopher Hardman and David Berridge. Both worked together at Croydons in Ipswich, forming a close working relationship. Together with David’s wife Kirsten and Christopher’s wife Angela, Berridges opened its doors in October 1994 and has today remained one of the finest jewellers in the region.
The specialism at Berridges is antique vintage jewellery and they now have an online store selling fine pieces of vintage jewellery
Christopher has always had a keen eye for fine antique jewellery and has been elected to the National Association of Goldsmiths Valuations committee who oversee the quality of jewellery valuations undertaken by its members.
In 2007 we were invited to join the Company of Master Jewellers, an independent buying group which enables us to increase our purchasing power and to go on great educational buying trips!
We are very proud at Berridges to be able to say that all our jewellery is personally selected, we are a family business and likewise we like to deal with fellow family businesses. Most of the jewellery we have in stock today has strong family origins. Shoeffel, Thomas Sabo, Georg Jensen, Breuning and Buchwald
to name a few.
