Nice old school stadium. The local ultras made a good atmosphere. Ridiculous they only had 1 tiny food and drink hut with 2 or 3 staff in it for a cup game with nearly 2000 away fansnfans though. The queue was so long at half time there was no way the folk towards the end were ever getting served
Was in the area so went to a match as a neutral for Greenock Morton against Stenhousemuir. Really is an old fashioned stadium which is not surprising since Morton have played here since 1879. As a small club it's obviously not really been necessary to modernise it, but it's clearly been cared for and the facilities are good with friendly and helpful stewards. Uncovered terracing is even called the Wee Dublin End. Very weird. Wee is what is done when people go to the toilet so an odd name. Mind you one stand is called The Cowshed! Brilliant. Long may it continue.
For me generally wasn't the best I was here for the Motherwell game during the cup, im a Motherwell supporter lol the stand was poor benches as the stand and a wee bit at the left and right. The sea made it difficult to move a flag and overall poorly made
Old style football ground with a lot of character. As an away fan standing in the wee Dublin End in the pouring rain on a Friday night is what following real football is about and my team won fairly comfortably.
Its been the home ground of Greenock Morton since 1879 its a traditonal old school looking ground full of character i like these kind of grounds as there are not many of these left a lot the stadium is terracing although the Grand Stand on one side does have seating
