A solid 3. Kids loved it, which is a big plus, but I noticed a lot that brings it way down. A lot of broken lockers, swimming features not working like the wave machine, run down features- the kids pool just looks awful. I won't be going back as it was £25 for three adults and two kids got in free. Better going local if you have the option.
We were quite up for trying out the inflatable session. “Lifeguard” randomly picked my daughter out the back of the queue and said she needed to do a “swim test” to have a shot. Made her swim two lengths of the pool which she did despite kids much smaller than her not having to do it or being reluctantly asked when I pointed out how inconsistent it was. The guy who asked her didn’t look like he could swim two lengths himself.nnFire/evacuation alarm went off during our visit as well and the staff seemed clueless as to what to do or where to direct people. We all ended up standing in the middle of the building not sure if that was right or safe.nnWe had an ok time otherwise but doubt we’ll be back.
Another good place for myself and my 2 kids , one a not great swimmer . Facility is similar to the time capsule but a bi more strict with non/ weak swimmers. Safety standards are good . . Pool area closed at 4pm on Saturday ..
Good range of pools for kids to enjoy at 4pm midweek. Wasn't looking for length type adult swimming so can't comment on thay. Changing facilities and showers were clean. The only downside is the water temperature is cool and the air temperature is cold so the kids teeth were chittering and lips were going blue after 30 minutes. Not so much of an issue for older kids who can be on the move constantly but our toddler was definitely getting cold after half an hour which isn't ideal.
Great place to take the kids for a swim on a rainy cold day. Good variety of slides, pools, etc. Affordable as well.nnChanging rooms can be a bit gross with all the traffic. Flip flops or slides are a must!
