I always come here for their hot choc with the full works. Just love how they present it.

Unfriendly, not great food and hairy?  My partner had a jacket potato with no butter (which came with lashings of butter) mine came with a big hair in it, we sent both back hers had now had the butter scraped off and mine was back the original hair missing but another big one included.  Staff were not freindly (from the start) it is clear they do not want to work there.  Would not go back even if it was free!! - Please go to one of the other lovely places here instead.  Did I mention it took about 30mins to get the first round of bad food?

unfortunately soup was unpleasant and tasted heavily of too much thyme 
She asked me if there was something wrong with it and when I said it was too spicy she told me it couldn't be as she had made it that morning. No replacement or refund was offered.

Just got back from the Trentham Estate on Christmas Eve where the plan was to have a late lunch & then look around the shopping village just enjoying the Christmas lights & atmosphere with our young children. Ordered food & drink for the family, waited for what seemed like 30 - 40 mins whilst watching other food orders being brought out. Went to enquire what was happening with our order and basically it hadn’t even been started & was told some of the last ingredients required had just been thrown away! Apologised and was given a refund but that’s the minimum I would expect. Now I’m not unreasonable, mistakes happen but probably won’t be returning. Had some kind of gesture like free meals on a return visit or cakes to takeaway etc... then maybe. Just some sort of acknowledgement beyond the minimum. Needless to say we left devoid of festive cheer with a hungry family & ruined Christmas Eve afternoon.
