It’s not sure if it’s a pub or a disco/nightclub. No ales available. £6.40 a pint! You’re having a laugh! We’re in Canterbury, not London. One mouthful of substandard ipa and left. Please let someone who actually cares about their clientele take over.
Convenient to The Marlowe Theatre. Pricey and the staff depending which one you get depends on the level of service you receive
Great location and simple in design and offerings. Definitely more of a "student vibe" but have to say they try their best to accommodate all. Stick to what's on tap and don't deviate to cocktails and you'll be fine!
Really interesting, the guides add humour and makes it an enjoyable experience...
Lovely fire place, very cosy.
Absolutely dead. The barman was lovely but the drinks all round were awful! I'd go again on a busier night maybe but not my first choice.
Great little pub, great staff. Ideal for a pre/post theatre drink, or a late visit as open till 1am
Cocktails without a cocktail shaker. Beware! Comfortable though
Fantastic opportunity to see how normal people lived between 11-12 century. Thanks a lot for all history! Just one think if is possible for the future to add more language translators include Bulgarian or Russian language. I am lucky, because my wife translate all.
Great place a drink if you are wondering the high street as it's just down a path away so nice view point as it's next to the theatre. Good prices on the drinks and quite the range if you are a fan of spirits.
