I called this repairer as my laptop would not switch on at all and he suggested that if I dropped it off he would take a look at it that night.  Within 10 minutes of me leaving it with him he called to ask for my password.  I asked him how he had managed to get it working so quickly and he stated that he had removed the battery and refitted it to reboot it, he said he needed to carry out some basic checks and that he would call me later.  After an hour and a half I called to ask what was happening.  He advised that it was still working fine but that I could not collect it as he wanted to keep it for a few days so he could keep on checking it.  I suggested that if it was working then I would prefer to collect it and if any problems should occur I could let him know.  He told me I would need to pay £45 and when I asked why it was so expensive he became immediately angry.  I reminded him that he had managed to fix the problem in ten minutes by simply removing and refitting the battery and that £45 seems rather expensive for 10 minutes work. He said he had backed up my data (I had not asked him to do this and why would he need to as the laptop was working fine) and said he had carried out a health check.  Realising I had been conned I had no option but to hand over the cash to collect my laptop.  He readily accepted the cash without offering a receipt and even had the nerve to suggest I was trying to make him feel bad.  If you read this Ed (the repair man) you feeling bad is purely down to the fact that you know you have ripped me off.

Great service,Eddie kept me upto date with repairs and was available weekends ,which was a bonus.

 We have used Cannock Computer Systems for around three years and we have always found both Eddie and Dave polite, courteous, friendly, efficient and effective. They have repaired /health checked various of our family laptops and, most recently, an Ipad. Prices have ranged from £20 (for the Ipad repair) to £45; even when the problem took more than one home visit to sort out we haven't paid more. The price quoted before the work is carried out is the price we have paid. We have no hesitation in recommending Cannock Computer systems with a five star rating.
