Had breakfast here the last two mornings March ‘23 and really impressed with the atmosphere, the friendly service and the quality of the food. We will definitely visit when we are next in Dublin.
Well priced café. We had breakfast. My partner ordered a breakfast sandwich rasher/sausage/fried egg. I was surprised it wasn't toasted but that's OK. No offer of brown/red sauce... The fried egg was beautifully cooked dippy. They served his sandwich and then I received my tuna melt almost 10 mins later. The place was clean and the prices were very reasonable for a city centre café. Vegetarian options: They had a lovely veggie breakfast on offer. But I went for the tuna melt in the end.
When i first got to the place the 3 ppl in service didnt even look at me and i had to called theur attention just to ask for a tea... They seemed quite annoyed by me just asking for the tea flavors. Place its nice and has a good location.

Great sandwiches, and really nice waiters. We've ordered lactose free cajun sandwiches and after a confusion they've prepared new sandwiches for us with no cheese nor butter. Thank you very much!!!! :
Staff are very pleasant but possibly there needs to be some additional training, ordered eggs for breakfast hich came without toast which seemed unusual, but ok. Then my partner's similar breakfast came about 10 mins later, and only after him querying whether it was still coming. Dont want to blame the staff as they were very pleasant and possibly new, but it's a bit sloppy considering there was only a handful fewer than 5 in the cafe at the time.

Saw several recent mediocre reviews about the service and was ready to be patient, but I found the staff extremely friendly and accommodating, efficient and handled rush periods with grace and organization. Food was delicious and so was the coffee. Perfectly lovely breakfast experience!

Theses people are mad with prices ! And you will be hungry leaving with 2 single eggs and 2 tiny rashers €8.50 ! Dublin is not cheep but this is madness for what you get ! Plus bad quality of coffee , castle rooms cafe here to rob the tourists I would believe , table next to me needed to ask could they have forks and knives at least with there breakfast, staff are badly trained and it is not busy I would hate to see more than 5 people sitting down for breakfast together say be a joke
