I love our space just recently joined a coffee group and it’s got a great bunch of welcoming guys there with the nicest cafe and staff .
The best place to be and socialize with people that can not Judge you and share the same life with and many more that we share and I thank all the Outhouse management for everything they always do nonstop to keep Outhouse running with all activities that happen at Outhouse. And thank you for the organized Dublin Pride Parade Day. It was my first and it will always be a day to remember for me. Thank you.
The warmest most welcoming place, and a great library to relax in Great food too!
Really cool queer cafe and community library. The cafe is is really nice, good tea/coffee and snacks. The library is just one room but there are a probably one or two hundred books in it that are all mostly queer themed. Some of their books are a bit dated though, would be great to have some more newer books. They also run regular sti testing, as well as other events. The staff are all really friendly and enjoyable to chat too.
Very recently they opened the refurbished cafe. Really nice soups made there. Nice nibbles too. The cafe manager is a trained chef or cook. It shows. Anyone can visit, albeit cctv from the nosey office staff upstairs. Its referred to as a "safe place" or a similar statement for LGBT, and all the other add on letters. I feel safe in Macs!
This could be an amazing place. Unfortunately it's run by a bully and a very manipulative person. The place has a high staff turnover due to the management. Any former staff member will agree. Manager and chairperson of the board are related which enables the behaviour to continue. I speak in personal experience of this. The organisation needs root and branch reform from the top. After all, it's taxpayer's money not donations that keep this place going.
Fab little community centre for the lgbt community. Old Georgina house undergoing reservations. The cafe has come on leaps and bounds. Lovely artisan produce! Lots of friendly and supportive groups for you to get involved with.
This cozy theatre has a small stage in the basement of the building, but the performances are stellar! Actors from all over the world come here yearly, as it is one of the play houses for the annual Live International GLBT Theatre Competition.
Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about most services dublin's gay scene has to offer. The café could be better and the management needs to work on the stigma the place has.
Cafe only busy in evenings and only by a clique of gay men very bitchy, den of viperswho do not make outsiders feel welcome, even during gay pride events, even in daytime hours and nothing has changed there since I last visited Ireland Young LGBT people seriously need to steer well clear of this place and I would not go there even if I moved back to Ireland
