Lovely spot by the canal. Plenty of outdoor seating. South facing so lovely in the evenings. Decent pints, standard food.

Suitable for families. Decent food and nice staff. Walk along the canal is a bonus. Free parking nearby

Lovely decoration, friendly staff. Live music is fun but really hard to have a conversation. The music is too loud you can't hear not even yourself. If you're not looking for somewhere to catch up in conversation, I'm sure the canal bar will serve you well in other ways.

Popped in for tea and scones which were fresh warm and accompanied with fresh cream and jam staff very warm and friendly the canal bar itself even though big was warm on a very cold day cost 6.50 for 2 people fab will be back
