The young woman working there is incredibly rude to not only the customers but to the person she was training behind the till. In response to the owner, this is a blatant lie to deter me from keeping this review up. The owner has now found my personal instagram and threatened to defame me.

I have been using this shop to collect and return parcels for two years. The staff are friendly and helpful. Occasionally, there were issues with the courier, Hermes/Evri, but that was beyond the control of the shop itself.PositiveProfessionalism

I have visited this store twice in the last few weeks initially to return Hermes parcels which were accepted by the member of staff, kind and helpful assistance given on both occasions. The store stocks interesting food stuffs as well as basics and the prices are very reasonable. Would recommend.
I had to collect my parcel before it it returned back to sender. My dog is recovering from surgery so had to take him with me as he can’t be left alone. When I said I was collecting a parcel the person serving me sighed and rolled her eyes. Then she saw the dog complete with head cone and refused to serve me. I tried to show my ID and offered to wait outside but she refused. Fuming! How about a bit of empathy and customer service. It’s not the first time I’ve been in and they’ve seemed moody about parcels. Some advice. If you don’t like doing parcel collection and drop off don’t offer the service. Simple.
I live locally and this small shop would have been perfect for a little shopping, dropping of My hermes parcels, etc... If only the staff were not so rude to their customers. They would definitely benefit out of doing a course on customer service and communication. Until then I'd rather do my shopping elsewhere and drop my parcels off a few kilometres away, that's how unpleasant it can be in this shop.
Very rude, unhelpful staff. If I could give a zero star that's what I would do. 1 When I picked up some parcels recently the young lady was totally disinterested and rude. 2I bought some chocolate on another occasion also recently and the older man told me they 'didn't have change' so he couldn't give me the 2 pence I was owed. I know it's only 2 pence but if does that to everyone he'd make a fair bit of money. 3 I went to return two large parcels for Hermes pick up today Sunday and the man told me 'the machine doesn't work on a Sunday, you can't drop that off today. I queried this as I had just come specifically with two, large parcels and he said absolutely not. I have just checked on their website and Hermes website and it says that this service is available 7 days a week at their shop. I will not go there again.
