We had the chef’s Ajitrecommendation of Chicken Biryani and it was one of the best Ive had in a long long time..the local lager was also amazing. Rashmi who served us was very friendly and warm and instrumental to turning our food choice to a pleasant experience! My son had a nice lemonade Meet ,who was at the billing station was alao very courteous..all in all a great place to be while we were waiting for our room to be ready
Delicious fish & chips had to order twice during my stay. Generous succulent, earthy Camembert appetizer warmed to perfection. Friendly staff. Perfect warm welcoming pub to catch a futbol match on large screens. Conveniently located in quiet Bloomsbury. Bonus: attached to hotel if staying overnight. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly atmosphere with outdoor courtyard for wild ones to run around.
The service from all the staff was fantastic. A big hats off to Temi, who was friendly, attentive and went out of her way to help us. When we found out she was still a trainee and only been in the job for 2 weeks, we were blown away. This young ladies attitude and work ethic beats many in the industry. She is a credit to the pub and the company and we wish her all the luck in her future career. We had nachos and wing sharers and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality. The place is well worth visiting!!!

I used to love a visit to Callaghans on my visits to London between 2010 - 2018. After a break of several years I returned and I have to be honest, the soul has been removed, there’s a sterile atmosphere. Sure it’s a nice place, the staff are friendly, but it has lost its charm slightly.Food: 5/5
Open late on a Sunday. Got some excellent fish and chips and a couple of pints of Guinness.Food: 5/5
We stumbled across Callahans when looking for drink and nibbles. What a lovely refreshing experience. We had a simple nibble of sharing nachos and wings along with some enjoyable cocktails. As nice as the food was it was the service that stood out for us. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, there was one young lady that stoid out for us. Temi was our initial server, she was interested why we were visiting, listened to us and went out of her way to get us a map with attractions and gave us some of her own suggestions. After chatting with her we discovered this young lady had only been working here for 2 weeks and it was her first job! My god with a work ethic and high standard of service at a young age Callahans are privileged she is working for them. Thank you
Went for after-work drinks and the atmosphere was brilliant. Lots of outdoor seats, and good craft beer, I loved the cosy pub and the great service from the friendly staff particularly thanks to Gunay. Didn't have any food but it looked great and will try it next time. Nice place to have a chat or gatheringFood: 5/5
So in love with the place and I had such an amazing time this past weekend. I have to say, it was an amazing experience. The beautiful terrace and stunning weather were breathtaking. And specially Selma, our hostess, who provided us with brilliant recommendations and exceptional services throughout our visit. She made our experience even more memorable. Overall, Callaghan is a must-visit spot for. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to have a wonderful time in a beautiful setting. Certainly coming back.
Great pub, especially good atmosphere watch the sports. We had classic fish and chips and the food was very good as well. Friendly staff special thanks to Gunay and Alexandrina. Highly recommend it and will definitely be going back.Food: 5/5
