This is a beautiful little cafe. The park is perfect for little ones. Tidy and safe with a little animal sanctuary including goats and chickens near by. I always pop by this cafe situated next to the park because it's a fantastic place. There is lots of wonderful seating outside and a great selection of cakes, coffees and sandwiches. But my main reason I like to frequent this place so much is the customer service. There is one lady. I think her name is Keeley forgive me if I'm wrong she is so sweet, greets everyone with a smile always so happy. She's as northern as they come and I absolutely love that. An absolute credit to the business and I'm sure a lot of people will agree. She really makes my and my twin daughters day. Keep up the good work. Your exceptional service and friendly nature is what keeps us coming back
Gorgeous coffee and cakes. Highly recommend the chocolate caramel slice, bakewell slice and the gluten free cake. Very friendly service. Dogs allowed in on the lead. Have always sat outside.Food: 5/5
I’ve visited the cafe twice before leaving this review, however the staff are incredibly rude - lucky if you’re acknowledged bar one older member of the team who’s polite the food is mediocre at best yet overpriced. So disappointing to have a team of staff who just chat amongst themselves, the cafe could be lovely and is constantly busy due to the park - if it wasn’t for that, I’m sure people would choose to spend their money elsewhere. I won’t be returning after this visit - was hoping the first time was a one off.
This hands down has the best lunch nosh around. The Aubergine hummus sammich or the goats cheese and caramelised hazelnuts one is AMAZING
Staff were lovely and the coffee was outstanding. Had a brownie too which was nice and gooey!Recommended dishesChocolate Cake
Went into the cafe at the weekend just for some drinks. Not one of the 5 people behind the counter even acknowledged that we were stood waiting to be served, they were more bothered about chatting between themselves and looking miserable. After 5-10 minutes of standing ignored waiting to be served we left. There is no excuse for rudeness! Can't comment on the food or drinks as we didn't get any. Maybe you need to call ahead? Wouldn't go again if they paid me
Expensive cafe, service time can be really long, they seem perpetually under staffed and everything seems to take forever. Coffee is not particularly good; very sour so always have a milky coffee, though this is usually not very hot. £4 for a tiny mocha! Sandwiches are very tasty as long as you like sourdough bread and don't mind the wait.
The cortado was perfect and if you fancy hot drink and cake is the place to go
Whenever I have some time with the kids I try to get down to Longford Park to get the kids on the park and myself a coffee and cake. Caffeine & Co never let me down. Great coffee and great cake. Lovely service with a smile and good pricing.
Great little café set among the trees in Longford Park. Eating a tasty bacon and egg sandwich sat on one of the benches is a real pleasure. Friendly efficient staff.
