Really nice environment. The coffee is nice I find Caffe Nero to be the best of all the big coffee chains, though it doesn't come close to a good independent place, as is the food. However, the waiting times are inefficient. The staff vary from efficient and friendly, to disaffected and more interested in having a natter with their colleagues than serving a crowing queue of customers.
The amazing part of the queue was brilliant & it never took very long for the drinks to be served. The taste of the drinks we're very good & always right by the order I makeService: 5/5
Pleasant coffee shop that serves nice coffee, cakes and sandwiches. There are some comfortable chairs and sofas so it’s a decent spot for a coffee and chill. Can be pretty slow at making the drinks but the staff are nice enough. Looking beyond the basics of a couple of comfy chairs and espresso based coffees it is still basically a typical teas shop unchanged from the 1940s. Uncomfortable chairs, dull walls, dodgy toilets and all a bit grey. Not a criticism particularly but a cultural reflection of “coffee shops”

Clearly the member of staff serving us yesterday at 5.30 pm didn’t want to be there, didn’t like dogs and couldn’t be any less interested in our order of two lattes and a cake. Could definitely benefit from some customer service training. Had to repeat our order twice. Sternly told me off for having my dog sitting on my knee. If he was on the furniture which he wasn’t I could appreciate her concern. Drank up and went as the atmosphere chilled our coffees.
