One of the best cafe's in Yorkshire that had a good combo of meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan options. Had amazing sandwiches and burgers apart from awesome coffee. We had falafal burger, yorkshire rarebit sandwich and fish finger butty. Their homemade bread was extremely soft. Location is superb, just down the market and service was pretty fast. Portion size was huge.
Best meal all week. After a week travelling around the dales we happened upon Cafe Curva. This is a delightful place serving perhaps the largest tastiest cheese scone. The home quiche was festooned with a great variety of salad. Good prices and attentive service. Thoroughly recommend
Lovely little Caffee. Dog friendly unlike so many of the village cafes and shops. Really nice coffee and soups. Fresh home made bread and very helpful and polite staff. Dog biscuits and water for the dog nice added touch. Small mistake with the order but quickly corrected with no fuss. Highly recommend this coffee shop.
Popular cafe in the heart of Hawes. Great selection of yummy stuff however the chocolate brownie is to die for. I'll be back.Food: 5/5
Lovely cafe, I had cheese on toast, everyone else had sandwiches and it was all delivered with a smile. The portions were very good, pity we didn't have room for a cake as the scones with cream and jam were going down a treat, maybe next time.
Popped in for a warm after mountain biking. Friendly and welcoming staff. Coffee was good and the cheese scones were absolutely amazing!
For the sake of clarity, the response from the owner to this review is factually incorrect regarding the welcome. It also doesn’t excuse why you would check on every table and just turn your back on one and ignore the customers sitting there. Original review - Disgusting, sat waiting whilst it was quiet for a long time, no service. Eventually the staff came and asked the three tables of locals if they were alright and completely ignored us and walked off. So, if you’re not on first name terms with the staff, go somewhere else. As a Yorkshireman, I expect better.
Great little cafe with delicious scones. Very dog friendly, ours was served his bowl of water and a biscuit before us
Friendly cafe with interesting menu. Our food arrived quickly, everything was clean and well organised. Definitely worth a visit shut on Fridays.
Ordered one of the specials home-made 3-cheese Quiche. Expected a simple slice of Quiche with a little salad. Instead was served with a huge plate of various salads, all extremely tasty. Quiche was top notch too.
