Had lunch there yesterday. Food was excellent, lovely atmosphere, very warm friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Yes this place is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. The food? Well it is out of this world! The lamb shank was so tender and the flavours were truly amazing! I recommend the desert menu's as they just melt in your mouth and are a little taste of heaven. The setting is very unique, and a nice cosy atmosphere.

Food was nice. Service was slow; however, they gave us our deserts for free because of this without us even complaining which was great. I thought the starters were quite limited which is the only negative point; the menu does change often though so I doubt this will remain the case. Overall very nice.

We booked for a table of four. But sadly when we arrived we looked at the menu and found it to be very limited. We ordered a bottle of wine and drank that in a leisurely time, but we did not stay to eat. When we eat out we want to eat food that we don't eat at home. All four of us said that the restaurant has been ruined my loosing the fine dinning experience and replacing it with hastings burgers. We won't be returning for an evening meal, but maybe a lunch time meal. We are very sad that hastings has lost in my opinion a good restaurant. 🙁🙁

Fantastic food, cosy classy environment within a very relaxed atmosphere. The owner Max Is so superb, warming and friendly. The garden at the back of the restaurant is fab. Highly recommended :))
