Very nice food. Healthy and tasty not like too oily like other indian restaurents. Friendly and helpfull stuff.. if i'll go hastings again of course will choose JALI.

Booked for Christmas lunch, sent choices prior to the day. Very disappointed after reading the good reviews. Served rolls with margarine not butter. Waited 45mins for starters then another 45 mins for main course which were cold when arrived. They missed the sorbet between the starter and main. We left after main... Restaurant was cold and had to keep jacket on for duration plus people on other tables asking for their jackets to keep warm as well. They seemed overwhelmed by number of covers. We had no reduction in fee, or offer of free drinks. Very poor and won’t be going back.

Would give 0 if I could- this place used to do good food. Had a take away recently that was so disappointing we didnt eat it. The saag aloo was the worst the potatoes tasted like they had been sitting in oil all day and the source for the korma was ridiculously sweet and overpowered with one spice.
