Story

CAFE V8 is Inverness' one and only truck stop which has been taken over by new management and is currently undergoing a full refurbishment inside and out.

The family run truck stop will feature a full sit-in and takeaway menu freshly prepared by our chefs, using only local produce with meat supplied by Macdougall & Hastie Butchers of the Victorian Market, Inverness.

Wonderful little gem hidden away in Inverness, they do breakfast till 3 in the afternoon, and steak night is every Saturday. Staff were warm and welcoming, food was served very quickly, we had starters and a main. Very filling. Eating area was very clean, bright and airy. Will defiantly return, was eyeing up the 32oz steak to be fair!

Excellent. A proper cafe, the welcome of a good old fashioned greasy spoon, but without the cheap sausages and watery bacon. The breakfasts were awesome, excellent ingredients, and plenty of it, for a reasonable price. I hesitate to recommend it, only because I don't want it to get so busy I can't get in, but I reckon the staff would cope and they deserve it. So, highly recommended.

Different soups each day, which are lovely. Good selection of lunch time meals. Prices a little higher in some areas. Overall, pretty good.
