I remember visiting this place almost a year ago and wasn't satisfied with the food, only the service. I'm happy to admit after a second visit with a friend, I absolutely enjoyed the food and the great service received. The owner of the franchise came over and spent a good time talking with us, asking for any suggestions. Will be visiting again soon rather than later. Highly recommended if you're deciding a meal in Oldham.

I went here a couple of months ago but as I walking past the "restaurant" I was reminded of how bad it was and had to warn other potential customers to not make the same mistake I did. The initial problem is that the menu is a textbook example of false advertising. I ordered a gourmet burger which was supposed to contain a 6 Oz beef burger patty but when it arrived it was legitimately the smallest burger patty I have ever had; I was rueing that I had left my weight scale at home! When the waiter was taking our orders, he made a mention of how we could get an egg on top of the burger at an extra cost of a pound and we both agreed - the burger comes and no egg. The chips also tasted like they had just been unfrozen and stuck into the microwave on the defrost option; I am 90% sure they used McCain oven chips no word of a lie. The place was also quite pricey as I got just a "gourmet" burger meal and it laughably came to £16!! The waiters were completely useless with any complaints and only woke up if you wanted to buy anything else. Go to original gourmet down the road.

Visiting Oldham and came across Cafe Tinsel, Found this to be a poor imitation of Tru burger In Birmingham. Portions are small and prices very expensive. Furnished quite nicely with comfortable seating and clean cutlery and tables.

Overpriced garbage, the reviews and pictures do this too much justice for what it is which is just hot garbage, not even fresh, came with family and ordered a bunch of food, place was empty, staff friendly enough, but they gave such bad food that I have to mark them down, the Pina colada was made with rotten pineapples, the steak while ordered as medium rare was delivered burnt and so tough that it would have been easier to cut a transformer. The burgers were missing key ingredients promised in menus, mixed grill was seasoned about as much as a glass of water, everything was so badly done that the only way I'd come back is if it was a free meal and there was nowhere on earth open, truly overjoyed, overpriced and so, so underwhelming. Do not waste your money.
