I've been here twice over the past month, and each time the waitress seems disinterested and needed to be reminded about my drink (there was only one other occupied table). The salad I ordered came out on both occasions missing the pancetta. The first time it came back a few mins later which was fine, but the second time she came out with half cooked chopped up back bacon. She popped it on my table and scurried away. Not great.

Cafe Rouge seem to have let there standards stip over the last few months. Both the Dorking premises and the Canary wharf one needs smarting up as the decor is very grubby. Dorking had but a bottle of wine on my bill when it should have been a glass only and the dessert was half frozen. No good although the manager was apologetic.

This is a great example of the difference a setting makes. The Reigate restaurant is a little sparse and noisy in comparison with here. It seems much more calm, relaxed and fitting here. The food and service are excellent, with the only note being that there is no draught beer here, so order 2 bottles at a time to ensure that you don't run dry.

Have been going twice a year for approx 8 years. Quite disappointed today, much smaller menu, less choice and much higher prices. Also horrible toilet smell and was very draughty. So we won't be going back

Such a lovely meal. Didnt recognise any of the staff but they were all polite, helpful and efficient. Was using a voucher so left feeling extremely satistfied after a delicious meal that didnt break the bank in the slightest! Only thing i would day was that we asked for steaks to be done at different rarities, medium to well done and extremely well done and they all came out the same however they were very tasty regardless along with the starters and sides. Of course will happily go back for more.
