Story

Mexicali, is a metropolitan region situated right on the U.S. - Mexico border, adjacent to its sister city Calexico, California, much like San Diego-Tijuana. Mexicali also has the distinction of being the northernmost city in Latin America.

This highly vibrant, historical melting pot of cultures is what Cafe Mexicali is about. Using the finest ingredients to celebrate and share mouth-watering (or numbing) Mexican cuisine with friends and family, accompanied with mind-blowing cocktails from all around the globe!

We have been here few times and always the food is delicious. Very nice place, the staff is very attentive and friendly. Clean and safe, following all standards covid19. You have more options that Mexican food: vegetarian options, fish and meat. The plates are well presentable and good portions.

Beautiful food... authentic flavours... generous portions, fresh ingredients, quality home made burrito wraps... just gorgeous... the chicken is so tender... the service and catering to dietary requirements is amazing. We had takeout.... then couldn't help but have it again the next night. It's fantastic.
Overall nice but no employees wearing masks and didn't see the tables get cleaned very thoroughly. Also watched a table with more people and us arrive after us, eat, and leave in the space it took to get our order. Lovely food, just got unlucky with the service. Would go again and hopefully have a better time.
Fun laughter and Great Food. The Staff were Welcoming and friendly, makes you feel like you're Visiting a family friend and Staying for the Feast. Absolutely Brilliant and the vibrant colours of the decor can be Found in most of the Dishes you get to Enjoy add that welcome home feel to your Appetite.
We are so pleased to have this lovely place jut few steps away from our home. Food is full of flavours and generous portions. Wide variety of cocktails and also very delicious. Cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff. We definitely will be back for more.
Someone answered the phone then aid they couldn't speak to me then left if off the hook for over 15 minutes without taking my query. Then I only got 1/2 my order and had to wait an hour for the next half. I got a complimentary desert but the food was cold and substandard. Wasn't cheap either. Very disappointed!
Delivery driver was given wrong address details, food was 20mins+ late therefore food was no longer hot. When chasing food order by calling restaurant, were very unhelpful and unprofessional.
