Staff was sweet and welcoming. I had a grilled cheese with tomatoes and pesto, which I enjoyed. However, my sandwich was grilled in wayy too much butter. Prices are very goodFood: 3/5
My favorite spot for coffee, baked goods and soup. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the price is fair. I really recommend it!Food: 5/5
I literally cannot say enough good things about this place. Stumbled on it by chance and have came back weekly since. I even bring my friends when they visit from out of town. AMAZING prices and everything is super fresh and seems homemade. The jam is to die for. I’ve yet to try their lunch but it sounds super yummy. The workers are very kind and the place is super clean. Parking is free and very accessible. My only note is that you cannot bring your to go coffee to shop around the attached Goodwill. Seriously the only restaurant I frequent now. Love this place!!
It was my first time at this cafe. The enclosed picture shows my breakfast leftovers ; everything was burned: toast, the sausages which were patties by the way and not your typical breakfast sausages and home fries mixed with carrots for some reason. The coffee they serve you has no top-up. I asked for one cream and one sugar to be added to my coffee You have to place your order at the cash register; they don't take your order at your table. and it was almost white! All I could taste was cream and not the actual coffee. I paid $18.04 including tip for my classic breakfast plus a glass of white milk. Not worth a penny, in my honest opinion! I wonder why a business would jeopardize their revenue with such terrible quality?!
My best friend and I came here, hungover after a concert last night. Summer and Nicole served us and their energy hyped us up. We needed smoothies and coffee stat, and they made it happen. They were having so much fun together and we joined along! We thought they were sisters but they said they weren’t! It was awesome to see people enjoying their work place and have such good bonds. We felt that if we came back, they’d remember us. 10/10 for food, atmosphere and service!
Cozy, minimal and absolutely gorgeous, with wallet friendly menu options and the friendliest staff. Love the community coffee program they run, where you can anonymously buy a coffee for someone.Food: 5/5
The place made us feel very uncomfortable. All tables were dirty. All water glasses were dirty. The cleanliness of the place overall was below normal. There were homeless people talking to nobody and moaning. Eggs Benny had hairs on the side. The coffee was sour. We asked for a fruit bowl, they forgot about it, but thankfully they brought it after the reminder.
A great local cafe that gives back to the London community! Fantastic all-day breakfast options, and lots of yummy pastries too. I had the breakfast wrap with home fries which was really good - eggs were cooked perfectly - and my partner had the eggs benny which was also a hit! Would recommend for a local spot that is just outside the downtown core, and you can even buy a "community coffee" and pay it forward for someone else. : Dietary restrictions: Have many vegetarian and vegan options, like the vegan omelette! Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
Today we stopped in for a late breakfast. It’s been some time since our last visit but I’ve always had a good experience until now. The good: the iced coffee was great, and I could snack on those ginger peach muffins all day. The bad: I ordered the big breakfast. Half of my home fries were burnt beyond being edible. Far worse though was the insane amount of salt on the home fries and in the sausage patties. I’m not one to shy away from sodium but it was truly terrible. In hindsight I should’ve asked them to take back my plate but I don’t like wasting food so I struggled through it. Even my toddler wasn’t willing to eat more than a couple bites of the homefries, and she’ll eat pretty much anything. I also noticed all of the high chairs were dirty. They don’t get a lot of kids in from what I’ve seen so it does raise the question of just how frequently they clean them. Sad to say I don’t think I’ll be returning for anything more than a coffee to go in future. The unpleasant blood pressure spike isn’t worth suffering again. Please consider letting the customer salt their own food as every other diner/cafe does!
This was my first visit and had an extremely positive experience .Let's start with the restaurant/cafe...not a great area of town but theyre super clean its bright and I loved the decor. The food was delicious I had breakfast great menu as well as prices . I was told the proceeds or a portion goes back into the community .5 star service and everyone was extremely professional and friendlyespecially Nicole who was my server They have a little gift shop which helps woman and I would definitely recommend. Cute hidden gem in the heart of the city .
