Cafe has polite staff and they are very responsible with the covid measures, upon entry you sanitise your hands, sign in at the door and you wear a mask to order to ensure staff and customer safety. When I arrived I was greeted by a lady who sanitised a table for me and took my order, I ordered a caramel latte and a bacon baguette which I must say is one of the best bacon baguettes I have had in a long while. The coffee was perfect too and very smooth with a good crema, not like some coffee shops where you can taste the burntness. I will definatly return as it was a great place to work from and the staff was very accomodating
Lovely, friendly service - biiiiiiig coffee never a bad thing and a glorious warm blueberry muffin. Not bad for a Sunday afternoon! Plus there’s a beautiful dog in the sunny back garden
Excellent cafe. Clean, friendly, great value with bohemian chic
Loved the atmosphere here and the manager is very kind. Yet when I went with a friend for tea and a muffin, all crockery was visibly dirty. Unsure if this was a poor attempt at cleaning or just very deeply stained. Either way, will probably pop back for a lovely blueberry muffin at some point.
Worse experience ever, don’t go if you are not English! Me and my friend went to have breakfast and this three members of the staff were lazy and sassy not offering us a paper menu, being rude and taking forever to bring the billshe actually admitted forgetting about us and not even saying sorry about thatThey were looking at us badly and treating us different because we were speaking in another language and I can tell this because when an English person was speaking in English with English accent the vibe was completely different than with us and our Spanish accent speaking in English. Also the food is small portions for what you paid and they don’t know how to proper cook the hash browns. Do not bother to spend your money uon this place is really not worth it.
Very long wait time by the door, was not acknowledged for a good 10 minutes. Dog wondering around, while eating passing under our legs under the table. Not really a dog person, long wait time, slightly overpriced baguette, good food but could be cheaper.
Honestly one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in Bristol! Absolute madness it was so tasty. Warm and friendly inside, super glad I popped in - get the avo and halloumi on sourdough with sumac tomato plate - it was mental good!
I ordered the salmon croque madame and it was okay but not great. My main complaint is that the sandwich was dry and there wasn't enough bechamel sauce. The sandwich also was a bit bland for my taste. It did come with a side salad and that was fresh. Also, the latte I ordered was fine as well.
Good service with great coffee. Fast and fresh as well. Ideal for a sandwich and a coffee!
I know Sunday mornings are busy but English breakfast was undercooked - sausages pink and didn’t look right. Bacon, and eggs were also undercooked. My partner had the same and felt a bit sick after eating a small amount of what was served. Juices and coffee were nice - one star. Atmosphere nice, but many of the customers including myself had to clear up their own tables in order to sit.
