I needed a replacement Panasonic magnetron for our microwave. The online ad. showed a photo with a Panasonic label. The one that arrived had a 'generic' label that didn't bear the Panasonic name. They said I could send it back for a refund, which I did, but no refund was forthcoming, despite several emails to them.

I then raised a complaint via PayPal (which I subsequently converted to a dispute) for an "item not as described". C&G claimed not to have received either the magnetron or my emails, despite the fact that one of my emails contained a copy of the Post Office's proof of delivery.

Apart from an acknowledgement saying that they would "look into this", that was the last communication that I or PayPal heard from C&G. After the appropriate waiting period, PayPal refunded my payment.

Don't buy from this company, or, if you have no alternative, pay via PayPal or some other method that offers you buyer protection.

Very disappointed in this company and i will highly recommend you look else where before using these. They will not give you your money back on your returns and are far from honest traders.

Todays tip stay away from these amateurs .

I took my hi-fi unit into the store on the 23rd of March 2017. 

Receipt states that diagnosis of problems takes 7 days. No communication after 7 days so sent a fb message and was advised they were busy. I suggested that if they were snowed under I could collect it. I went down to shop to get clarification because they never answer the phone.

I politely questioned why nobody got back to me in the time stated and was met with the guy becoming huffy and saying he didnt want my business. I arranged to collect later on in the week because it was in bits appaprently but then get a message later on in the week to say they could do the job and it would take 14 days. 

From then on I have had to go to store on 3 more occasions to check status only to be told at the beginning of july that they cannot repair.

Poor communication

Handed in my portable DVD/TV player to be looked at and, if possible, fixed. My phone calls and emails weren't answered so 3 weeks later I went in person to find out what was going on only to be told the part required can't be sourced.

No, this isn't a faked review. Poor service.

This place is incredible. Drop something off for the entertainment value. There is usually some poor senior citizen in the queue ahead of you, getting fobbed off about why their TV has not been fixed, despite being in the shop for a couple of months. I put a DVD/Video player in and it was eventually returned to me in pieces about 8 weeks later. I took it to a place in Clydebank where they told me in 5 minutes it had an irreparable fault. When I handed it to him (in bits), the guy at Clydebank just said, 'C and G?'. The Fawlty Towers of electronics repair. I honestly don't think they fix anything.
