We are independent, knowledgeable, empathetic, accurate, consistent, confidential and provide a speedy service. We are located within Buxted Medical Centre, therefore are able to provide holistic patient centred care to our community.

Story

We may be situated within the Buxted Medical Centre, but Buxted Pharmacy is a multi-award wining pharmacy offering NHS services to all our community including Uckfield and surrounding villages. We offer an all-day delivery service and have excellent working relationships with other medical centres including Horam, Bird-In-Eye and Meads.

Since our foundation in 2012 Buxted Pharmacy has become an integral part of the Uckfield and rural community. We provide friendly and personalised pharmacy services to our patients and as a result we have grown 25% each year for the past three consecutive years.

The team consists of the responsible pharmacist, pharmacy technicians, medicines counter assistants, a pre-registration pharmacist and our drivers. All our staff are highly qualified, very knowledgeable and are always happy to assist you with any queries you may have.

Buxted Pharamcy is proud to have been awarded the "Best Rural Business" award at the local Uckfield Business Awards in 2016. A huge thank you goes to our sponsors NFU Mutual. We were also awarded the National "Independent Pharmacist" awards for training and development in September 2016. A huge thank you goes to Independent Pharmacist Magazine and Actavis for sponsoring this award.

Buxted Pharmacy aims to work closely with our CCG and LPC to provide new services to our patients. We hope to make a real difference in our community by increasing our clinical trial reach, improving medicines compliance while also reducing wastage by providing various training sessions. We will also be supporting local charities. Finally, we hope to achieve another national award in the year to come.
