Oly is a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make our 5 days stay here really enjoyable. The setting is wonderful with Beverley only a 1/2 hr.walk away and sandy dog friendly beaches only a short drive. The amenities are all new and the shower block toasty warm for our winter visit. We will definitely return!

We have stayed on many different campsites all over the UK & only a few stand out in my mind & only a few I would consider for return visits, this is one of them for sure!!! It's easy to see why they won the award for best newcomers ... The site has a modern feel with a rustic charm, the showers are lovely, small but perfect use of the space, modern but with a unique touch by mounting crates to hang mirrors on over the sinks, love this! The shower room was so warm & cosy & I particularly loved the fact that it's all heated by renewable energy. Shower temp & height are both adjustable, however I would say that the 1st shower cubicle in the ladies seems to be lacking in a good seal on the shower pipe because a lot of water was pouring down the pipe which meant the one shower pressure was more of a trickle but easily fixable...also the controls on the shower are quite stiff , so although temp adjustable it can be very hard to do so. Dish washing area under shelter & with hot water & plenty of space , I loved the info area, it was all perfectly laid out with something to suit everyone. Nicely decorated with unique items full of character....(with communal fridge & freezer ) There was a big silo full of firepits for rent, love this idea, we love to have a fire so that was a big plus point. I loved how wooden signs had been used around the site & added nice little touches to general area like the water points & above the shower/toilet block doors Bin area was great, nice & big & clean & tidy, recycling available & encouraged too which is a major plus point Very easy to get to Morrisons from the site & Beverley town only a short distance away Had the site had a laundry room & the shower pressure was higher in the one cubicle & shower controls easier to use then I would have given an extra star , also would like to see cleaning fluids in the mop buckets to enable easier cleaning after showering. All in all a brilliant camp site full of unique charm & character, perfect surroundings & everything very clean & smart. Definitely recommend this site to anyone in the area, you won't regret it.

We have stayed at this campsite on two occasions the last time being over Christmas It is a small, peaceful site on a working farm Ollie and Jen the owners are very friendly and helpful on the evening of your arrival they always pop round to see if your settled in. Our pitch was a gravel hardstanding with water and 10amp electric hook up. The toilets and shower room for the ladies were always clean. The information area is full of things to see and do, it also has a freezer for ice packs and washing up area. Supermarket is 15mins walk away. Close to cycle routes. Can't wait to go back.

Lovely friendly people Oly and Gen. Site is early in its life, quiet, mixture if grass and gravel pitches. Interesting WWII gun emplacement in the next field. There's the first of a series of Yurts built from straw bakes and lime rendered for hire. Showers a little basic but clean and hot. Great information shelter with loads of local pubs that are dog friendly. 2 miles to centre of Beverley, or walk to end of entrance road and catch a bus. I stayed here whilst visiting the Freedom Festival, I can really recommend it.
