Stayed here for the last three years the carvans are clean and tidy and have every thing you need I have fished the lake on several occations and can say without question it is one of the best venues I have ever fished well worth a trip with stunning vuies and outstanding facilities.

I found this property through Homeaway. Upon arrival we learned that facility has two types of properties, Cottages and static caravans. All the photos promoting the property on Homeaway (except for one photo) are photos of the Cottages. Therefore when we reserved the property we were under the assumption that the property we rented would look like the photos. That was not the case. We were assigned a static caravan which is not to the same standard as the cottages. Our caravan had stains on the carpet and various insects (wasps, spiders, flies, etc.) After our first night we decided to find other accommodations. The owners were accommodating in that they refunded money for remaining nights but charged us a 50 GBP cleaning fee which I found to be excessive given the state of the caravan upon our arrival. If one is considering a stay at this property you should have a clear understanding of whether you will be staying in a cottage or a caravan. Another thing to note which we did not consider under after our arrival is that you are staying on a working farm. We found the smell of manure to be overwhelming. I appreciate that the owners (who were very nice people) refunded money but overall it was a regrettable experience that caused us significant inconvenience.

Nothing to complain about, lovely location, very polite and friendly people, our boys love it and we are hoping to make it a yearly event xxxx

What a nice experience. Great accommodation, Otter cottage, & great fishing too. Very clean and quality interior. Need a silencer on the cockerel though. LOL!
