Needed the car ready sooner than usual and Chandler came through despite a very busy period. Nice guy to deal with. Knows how to sell as well, proactively sent me a walk around video when I was just enquiring.
My 2018 transit custom with 70000 miles on the clock had a wet belt failure resulting in needing a new engine. As all my service history was in order they offered me a good will gesture to fix/ replace engine. After 3 months and 2 weeks my van still sits in Bussey in Norwich's yard unfixed and I'm still in the dark about the goodwill gesture and the total costs to do the repairs. Will up date as things hopefully get sorted.
Just not a good company to deal with anymore, been a customer for 36 years, buy new cars from them every few years but I wanted a simple job done to replace a light bulb. The best they could do for me was mid January todays date is 17th December, no such thing with them about looking after their customers. Will be buying my next new Ford from another Ford dealer.
Expensive. Not all work completed. Comms not as good as I would hope. Warranty work still outstanding. Last year parts were ordered and never fitted. This time the same thing.
Needed to bring my Ford truck in several times due to an engine light showing on the dashboard. Each time I was seen by Vikki on the desk who dealt with my queries efficiently, sympathetically with excellent customer care and support.
Jason Lavender was the easiest sales consultant to deal with. Walked in on Saturday to test drive a car, got me a great deal same day, picked the car up on Tuesday. Easiest process I’ve ever dealt with.
Poor test drive experience, dirty car, not charged ready for me and no one knew how the MachE worked in any detail. If the dealer can't work out how to charge an EV overnight it doesn't bode well.
I brought my van to Bussy’s Norwich as I thought I would be dealing with a professional company, paying a premium for the work to be carried out promptly as I’m self employed and rely on my van for my income, how wrong I was. Original fault was a vibration coming from the engine, a week later still no attempt to fix the original issue apart from a new tyre and two hours labour due to the diagnostic machine wound not connect, no definitive answer from anyone when I call and handed from one person to another, even had the phone put down on me. Very frustrating and definitely will not be using them again.
Avoid at all costs. Sold a car with a manufacturer defect which is now on its third recall of 2.5 million cars on the US. The door swung open goung round a roundabout with a 5 year old in the car because of the failing door latches. It's a well known issue for these models of cars. The dealership are reusing to accept liability for the repairs. Had a member of staff pretend to be the dealer principle and then got patronising and lippy saying how you do you we sold it like that etc etc Then had the sales manager encourage me to break the law by driving an unroadworthy car as locks are required to be working to pass an MOT. So they could look at it at my expense. Driving an unroadworthy car invalidates insurance also. The dealership has offered to repair at my expense and have failed to acknowledge any fault on their behalf. You need to arrange recovery of the car and repair at yours or ford's expense and issue an apology for putting my daughters life at risk. PS.... they now think attempting to ban somebody absolves them of their responsibility under the consumer rights act. Absolute clowns.
Took our work van in to get an injector fault sorted, came out and within 5 minutes the light was back on with the same problem, followed by a fault in the steering rack module, on a van with 35000 miles. Wouldn't bother with a Ford again.
