I am really happy that I found this place through brochure in a hotel. The park is big enough. There are a lot of different decorated gardens. The proper time to visit this place is when it is sunny outside and the flowers are blooming. The House is a very pleasant place which is good to see. But it is not open everyday. So, if you want to visit it you should check working days for The House.

A lovely day out at Buscot Park the home of the Handerson family and the present Lord Faringdon, so although a NT property also a family home so not open as much as other NT properties. A tour of the house you will find it absolutely beautifully decorated and furnished, unfortunately no photography is allowed inside. The water gardens and parkland are a pleasure to stroll around, although not all is accessible. Some areas also have steep steps, but there are routes for mobile scooters. The walled gardens have the Terracotta Warriors on display. Pleasant tea room and small plant shop, picnic areas adjacent to the car park.

Really fantastic. So much to see I would recommend spending the whole day here to have chance to experience it all. Really super house, the guides were very knowledgeable (if you have small children you do need to keep them on close control). Such wonderful gardens ~ really really loved the variety of items; fountains, sundials, Egyptian statues, modern art, terracotta warriors, lakes ... just so much. My children loved it. There are also plenty of parking, toilets and cafe. I would love to go back and would highly recommend! ⛲

One of my favourite NT. My young Kids love messing about on the lawn and the hiding behind the terracotta soldiers. Always busy on sunny days.
