Just a patch of grass, but worth visiting for a short break. Kids play area, some benches, lots of space. So probably good for physical activities.

It's a large field (originally a cricket field for the railway workers in the 1800's) a short walk from the town centre. Not much here but ok for walkers and runners on a sunny day. There are sometimes fairs and other events held there when it gets very crowded but otherwise is a fairly quiet and relaxed place to walk/sit.

The park is full of druggies and syringes. Not recommended at all specially with kids. If you don't believe, Google the park name and read news.
