Staff were very good but Travelodge is slipping down the rankings of the budget hotels. They still have basic amenities but they are even more basic now. The Bury site was very "tired" with dirty looking carpets, the bathroom only had soap in the shower dispenser, poor tea and coffee and just one pillow each on the bed. It has it's own dedicated car park but they still charge you to park your car - there is half price parking if you're only staying for a maximum of four hours - weird! Internet is chargeable and very slow speeds. Ok as an over-night rest-stop but if I was a contractor I'd be looking elsewhere.
Be careful with parking. Had an £85 fine for non payment of £3. Woman on reception didn't mention anything about parking when I checked in. It's not something you think about when you book a room that you have to pay to park too.Rooms: 3/5
Ended up staying here for a good while. The rooms were always on point everyday. Lovley friendly staff theres not 1 bad staff member unlike some places. Would highly recommend this place 24/7 asda walking distance mcdonalds town centre isnt far either. Thank you for having me. ROOM 118. 114. 112Rooms: 4/5
Nice simple budget hotel. Great heater, plenty of space inside room. Large desk too. Huge car park right outside, shame it costs in such an industrial area but it’s kept low at £3.00 per 24 hours. No breakfast served, however you have Asda cafe & McDonalds a stone throw away. Also home bargains and Asda supermarket conveniently close. —— Changed review: horrible Wi-Fi, achieving a 5.24 download speed. Not acceptable, especially when you pay extra for it. It seems like some needless routing is occurring, likely firewalling to the other side of the country. 29/12/22
Staff are very polite as always.U have to pay for parking,Theres is a Pub.McDs next to it and asda 5 min across the rd. Dog friendly and fenced grass are round back. It's a shame to see the company are not keeping up with the maintenance on some off the rooms they are very clean as always I stay in alot off them and the shower's,toilets and heaters in most rooms I have stayed are low pressure and heatersthat just need replacing,running toilets they are quick fix.
Great budget accommodation. Not in the center if bury buy has the benefit of very reasonably priced car parking. Helpful and efficient staffRooms: 5/5
I stayed during the Harry Styles concert and I must say, this hotel is a bargain for how great it is! It is right beside a petrol garage, 24hours asdas, mcdonalds, burger king and the list goes on! When we stayed it was very warm and they even provided a desk fan which was nice. Also fresh towels. Staff were lovely and the check in and out was very easy. Parking was also very good, it was nice to feel at ease knowing our car was parked in a nice safe place right outside!
Okay for one night. Located in a shopping/entertainment complex. In general the place was clean and got a good night's sleep.Rooms: 5/5
As expected with a Travelodge. We had a room above reception, and the noise of the electric door disturbed us all night. Rooms: Our room was noisy because of being above reception. At nearly £100 I don't see it as a bargain. Nearby activities: There is a great pub next door and McDonald's. Also a retail park with shops and a supermarket opposite. We had to use a taxi to get into Prestwich where we were eating. Cost £13 each way.
Stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting elderly relatives. Great room, fairly quiet away from the road. Didn't like the fact that we had to pay for car parkRooms: 5/5
