I'm absolutely delighted with the way that the guys helped me out, I went in at a really busy time and had worn out my brake pads n discs, the garage were full for the next week however because the car was so dangerous to drive they accommodated me and had it fixed the very next day. I can't stress how helpful the garage was and I'll be recommending them to all my friends n family, delighted with the service is an understatement. They also took me home that day knowing I was stressing about having no car. Thanx again for your first class service. Dianne
After a Halfords garage failed to complete an air con gas recharge, and other local garages giving outrageous quotes, I contacted Burnside Motors. They asked me to bring my car in that morning, completed an air con recharge within an hour and at a great price. My car now has ice cold air con - perfect during this heatwave! Overall - fast, efficient, and great priced work carried out by a professional, knowledgeable, and friendly team. Highly recommended!
1st time ive used Burnside motor, ook my car for a full service, brake fluid replaced and new brake pads and discs. Good workmanship and competitive prices. Definitely recommend this place
Service was good. However was told rear coil springs needed replacing which as it turned out was untrue but I had them replaced. They ordered the wrong ones hence the rear collapsed. Took 2 more sets and 4 weeks before they put the correct ones on. Also had a o/s ball joint replaced which has subsequently seized and failed requiring a new one to be fitted. The owners of the garage were brilliant mechanics but the new guy in charge isn't. Will NEVER be back.
The staff at Burnside are first class, very attentive, knowledgeable and professional. It's a pleasure to find such a young team which are so helpful and take on any challenge trust me I've given them some difficult ones. All my family cars are cared for by Sam, Des and Andy. Well done guys and thanks for the best service ever.
Been using this garage a while now, Father has retired and now Son has taken over business, still the same good honest service and quotes you'll find difficult to beat. Had exhaust fall off years ago, two garages looked over the car, quoted for full exhaust. Went to Burnside, was explained that we only needed part exhaust, saved a good bit of money. This time it was clutch kit required £428 fitted job done next day, car is great again, still getting used to characteristics of new clutch, gone are the awful sounds from car and feels brilliant. Team in garage are all very friendly, excellent standard of service, can't praise them enough, wouldn't take my car anywhere else now if I have the choice. Honesty and integrity is important for customers and it's a shame these guys don't have any online reviews, no reviews at all can be offputting but give them a try, see for yourself, they're always mobbed with customers, really good sign. Keep up the good work guys...
Service was OK, MOT more expensive than other local garages, and another specific garage failed it on more than what was recorded, which ultimately left the cost of repair in dispute. Burnside said it will cost x amount but, on reflection, nowhere actually near that amount, only to find when going for repair the fixing garage actually said more work needed to be done to pass the MOT, pushing the price back up....a curious set up to be sure, but needless to say I cannot recommend, apologies.
