Found myself in a fix when my previous car failed to pass it’s MOT, Christmas rush approaching at work, compulsory overtime and completely reliant on my car to get to and from work. Bought a Mini from them in November. BIG MISTAKE. 2 weeks after the warranty expired, I need a new engine.
I would recommend taking a mechanic with you when you go to look at a car. I had problems with my car which I bought from here from the start. They did check my car over on numerous occasions, after making calls and also turning up at BVA beforehand. The problem was not resolved. My car almost broke down while commuting. BVA sent me to a garage after I asked to speak to their manager! This problem with the car occurred over a period of 7 months!!
I was in a real fix needed a good reliable car for my wife, as hers just died on her. Went to Burn Valley, The staff Neil and Co were so helpful. I got a great deal on a vauxhall vectra car is excellent runs like a dream. Thank for being so patient professional and courteous guys. Definitely be buying again in the future.
Excellent customer service. Very patient kept my car for two weeks with deposit. Would highly recommend. Dealt with Neil throughout. Everything they said would be done was. Thank you.
Paid a deposit for a citroen car but after checking the coolant fluids found it to be rusty indicating something very wrong with the engine I spoke to a salesman who told me "half the cars on the lot are like that and there's nothing wrong with ithe said they would phone me back to discuss it, they never did, they phoned me 3 days later to tell me the car was ready to pick up, I said "don't want it please return deposit", non refundable he said, so even finding a potentially serious fault is no reason to give me a refund, they just renewed the fluids to hide the fault, be careful and get proper checks before buying from these guys who come across as very pleasant hence the two stars, just updated to three stars as they have got back to me and offered to extend the warranty by three months and renewed the fluids, but the underlying issue of rust in the system will surely arise again sometime in the future so have to decline the offer as it's only a problem in waiting and I cannot afford to take the risk
