Story

Originally opened as a 'pop up' venue for the 2014 Edinburgh festival, Burgers & Beers Grillhouse has evolved and recently undergone a huge refurbishment. Boasting friendly attentive staff, stylish rustic decor, comfortable leather seating, a large banqueting table, impressive food menu consisting of gourmet burgers, steaks, lobster, ribs, spatchcock chicken all cooked on the huge char-grill, and a bar area serving a large range of scottish, craft and imported beers alongside a mouth watering cocktail range and an impressive wine & champagne list. The rib eye steak, i ordered tasted excellent with the recomended beer by the host.. Do ask them for the dips/sauces.. which are charged but they r definitely worth it.. The ambiance is great all around.. Its pricey.. but worth every penny..
Tasty food and excellent service! If you are going Monday to Wednesday during September remember to mention the 50% discount for the Eat Out to Help Scheme. Also, on Wednesday they have the unlimited wings for £12 and with the discount is just £6 it's worthy if you are going to eat more than 8.
Great service. Delicious burger. The fries were also very well cooked, although they had to be ordered as a side, and I also enjoyed the haggis fritters. Excellent drink selection with many local ales. A very filling meal too; came here for a late lunch and did not need to eat for the rest of the day! Highly recommended!
Food excellent service was awesome. Great place to sit and enjoy company with friend over some amazing food. Staff were really friendly, although with everything going on just now they still had a laugh and joke with us. Thank you so much for the great time. Look forward to going back again.
Very tasty food I had the vegetable skewers and loaded vegan sweet potato fries but a bit over priced in my opinion. However, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. It is a cosy place
